Duffy's Tavern has been popular with tourists and locals for 23 years. Jim Duffy first opened it as a bar and liquor store. Jim ran the bar with help from his three kids, Kevin, Mickey and Kathy. Jim was famous for his Navy stories and his singing of "O'Danny Boy." Jim passed on four years ago.
His son Mickey has been running Duffy's Tavern for many years now and has built it into one of the most popular bars/restaurants in Lake George Village. There are now 3 bars: an outdoor cabana bar, an upstairs nightclub and a downstairs bar with many games and TV's. There is a
band every night upstairs at Duffy's Tavern during the summer. There is also
outdoor entertainment, Thursday through Sunday on the deck. The
food at Duffy's is all homemade, from the soups and gravies to the meats cooked in-house at Duffy's.
